Joe: Bethy is an all-around great person to be around, and I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve gotten to spend with her (and her large family), both when I lived in Iowa City, during my fequent visits since moving away, and on the long and lonely roads during our marathon training. It is great that she is a part of the wedding, and I am so glad that she likes her new sister.

Kate: Growing up I always knew Beth as the pretty girl with the big red hair. I remember her practicing her Regina cheerleading cheers at Susan Kane’s house up the street. I thought they were just the coolest and couldn’t wait until I was in high school. Years later I’ve gotten to know Beth. She is so fun and nice – and definitely still has that ‘spirit’ that I admired so much.
